Assistant Director, Corporate Strategy to join the group strategy function. This role will work closely with senior leadership to drive enterprise-wide strategic planning, portfolio analytics, performance management, and key corporate initiatives. The successful candidate will play an important role in shaping long-term growth priorities, evaluating investment and business opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making across multiple business units.
Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate Strategy & Planning- Support the annual strategic planning cycle, including business reviews, market assessments, and long-range planning initiatives
- Partner with business units to evaluate strategic priorities, growth opportunities, and resource allocation decisions
- Develop strategic frameworks and recommendations for senior management review
- Monitor macroeconomic, sector, and competitive trends relevant to the business
Performance Management & Analytics- Analyse business and portfolio performance across operating platforms and asset classes
- Develop dashboards, KPI tracking tools, and management reports to support decision-making
- Consolidate and interpret financial, operational, and market data to identify risks and opportunities
- Present actionable insights to leadership teams in a clear and concise manner
Corporate Projects & Strategic Initiatives- Lead or support cross-functional projects including transformation initiatives, operating model reviews, and growth programs
- Conduct business case analysis, scenario modelling, and strategic impact assessments
- Coordinate stakeholders across finance, investment, operations, and business units to drive execution
- Track implementation milestones and strategic outcomes
Investment / Portfolio Support- Assist in evaluating capital deployment priorities, portfolio optimisation, and strategic transactions
- Support hold-sell analysis, market entry reviews, and strategic investment assessments
- Provide analytical support for board and management presentations
Stakeholder Management- Engage regularly with senior internal stakeholders across multiple geographies and business lines
- Prepare executive-level presentation materials and strategic discussion papers
- Facilitate planning discussions and alignment across functions
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related discipline
- At least 6 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate planning, investment analysis, finance, or similar functions
- Prior exposure to real estate, infrastructure, asset management, or capital-intensive industries is advantageous
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities
- Ability to synthesise large volumes of information into clear recommendations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience engaging senior management and cross-border stakeholders preferred
