We are looking for a HR Business Partner with specialisation in either functional area: (A) Performance Management; (B) People Engagement, who will play an important role to engage, advise and support business units on people matters.

This role involves engaging with business units to provide support on workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management and employee relations. He/She will also be responsible for building high performing teams through performance management processes and tools.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:

HR Business Partnering

  • Manage the full spectrum of the recruitment cycle from talent sourcing to negotiation of offers
  • Partner business units to review sourcing and selection strategies to ensure a pipeline of high-quality talent for the polytechnic
  • Deliver a positive employee and candidate experience from onboarding to offboarding
  • Partner business units to address and enhance employee engagement and retention initiatives in alignment with organisational values
  • Performance Management
  • Manage and implement organisation-wide appraisal, ranking and promotion exercises
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on performance management frameworks, policies and processes
  • Provide advisory support to Senior Management, people managers and employees on performance management matters
  • Oversee staff Code of Conduct and Declaration matters
  • People Engagement
  • Plan and organise employee engagement activities to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee and enhance the organisation's Wellness Hub, curating a suite of staff welfare programmes that support physical, mental, and social well-being.
  • Gather employee feedback and work with stakeholders to improve engagement initiatives.
  • Track participation and effectiveness of programmes, and recommend improvements.

[What we are looking for]


Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience in HR, with a strong focus on HR business partnering and performance management
  • Familiarity with Public Sector Human Resource policies, practices and guidelines will be an advantage
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities, complemented by strong attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team player who is proactive, resourceful and confident
  • IHRP certification preferred

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
