ASSISTANT COOK

Job Description
We are seeking a hardworking and responsible Assistant Cook to support daily kitchen operations. The Assistant Cook will assist the Cook/Chef in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure food quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation (cutting, washing, marinating, basic cooking)

• Support Cook/Chef in daily kitchen operations

• Ensure food is prepared according to standard recipes and hygiene requirements

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, utensils, and equipment

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations

• Assist with stock preparation and basic inventory checks

• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Requirements

• Prior kitchen or F&B experience is an advantage but not required

• Willing to learn and follow instructions

• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours

• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Team player with a positive attitude
