Job Description
We are seeking a hardworking and responsible Assistant Cook to support daily kitchen operations. The Assistant Cook will assist the Cook/Chef in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure food quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation (cutting, washing, marinating, basic cooking)
Support Cook/Chef in daily kitchen operations
Ensure food is prepared according to standard recipes and hygiene requirements
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, utensils, and equipment
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations
Assist with stock preparation and basic inventory checks
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Requirements
Prior kitchen or F&B experience is an advantage but not required
Willing to learn and follow instructions
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Team player with a positive attitude
