Assistant cook

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Assistant Cook to support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assisting with cooking, and maintaining cleanliness. The Assistant Cook works closely with the Senior Cook to ensure meals are prepared efficiently and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping, marinating, etc.)

• Help cook and plate dishes according to recipes and instructions

• Prepare basic dishes under supervision

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area

• Wash utensils, equipment, and work surfaces

• Ensure proper food storage and labeling

• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages

• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries

• Support kitchen team during busy service periods
