Our client, a Japanese clinic, is seeking an Assistant Clinic Nurse (Japanese Speaking)to provide compassionate, patient-centred care and facilitate effective communication with doctors and patients.
You will report to the Nurse Manager.
What you will be doing
- Ensuring nursing care services are safe, competent, and personalized. Upholding nursing standards in documentation, treatment, patient monitoring, and infection control.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of patients conditions and collating data.
- Managing overseas travel insurance, handling clinic emails, phone calls, inquiries, patient registrations, and reservations as required.
- Handling OTAI claims and coverage for consultations, treatments, medications, surgeries, or hospital admissions.
- Liaising with OTAI for Letters of Guarantee (LOG), specialist clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and radiology for billing.
- Following up on outstanding payments from corporate clients, OTAI, and self-paying patients.
- Scheduling appointments for health screenings and managing follow-up reports.
- Assisting in translation duties within and outside the clinic to facilitate communication among patients, clinic staff, doctors, and specialists.
- Performing various health examination procedures, including anthropometric measurements, blood pressure, retinal imaging, ECG, visual acuity tests, spirometry, and hand grip measurements.
- Conducting face-to-face surveys with research participants.
- Conducting inventory checks on equipment, surgical supplies, and instruments.
- Collating all laboratory and x-ray results and reports from specialists.
- Following up on doctors instructions regarding laboratory, x-ray, and other results for review.
- Dispensing medications.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by management.
What they are looking for
(Must)
- Certified Nursing License.
- Fluent in English and Japanese (JLPT N1) to communicate with counterparts.
- Minimum 1 year of clinic work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in handling cannulation.
- Willingness to work a 5.5-day work week, including Saturday mornings.
(Advantageous)
- 2-3 years of clinic work experience preferred.
