Job responsibilities:
- Assist the Cafe Manager in managing daily cafe operations, ensuring seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
- Deliver exceptional customer service and handle guest feedback, enquiries, and complaints effectively
- Support the supervision, training, and motivation of staff to uphold service excellence and performance standards
- Oversee operational flow, including reservations, seating plans, and overall efficiency
- Assist with inventory control, stock management, and cost optimisation initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and company standard operating procedures
- Contribute to achieving outlet targets and supporting the overall performance of the cafe
Requirement:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the F&B industry
- Culinary diploma or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Customer-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused mindset
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
- Sound knowledge of restaurant/ cafe operations, inventory control, and health & safety standards
- A team player with a professional and approachable attitude
