Responsibilities
- Direct daily café operations to ensure seamless workflow, operational efficiency, and adherence to quality standards
- Maintain a clean, sophisticated, and welcoming environment that meets health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Support marketing initiatives and brand promotions to enhance customer engagement
- Identify and resolve operational challenges to improve business performance and implement effective procedures
- Execute senior management directives accurately and independently, managing operations autonomously when required
- Recruit, mentor, and inspire a team of hospitality professionals to achieve high performance
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous service improvement
- Design strategic staff schedules to optimize service flow and labor efficiency
- Conduct structured performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities
- Lead by example to maintain composure and polished service delivery under pressure
- Deliver personalized, memorable service by anticipating guest needs with attentiveness and discretion
- Address guest feedback and beverage concerns professionally and promptly
- Build strong relationships with clientele and the local community to enhance brand loyalty
- Collaborate with the broader restaurant team to maintain elevated service standards
- Maintain meticulous inventory control and source premium products to uphold quality
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with trusted suppliers
- Monitor product quality consistently to ensure the highest standards are met
Required competencies and certifications
- Food Safety Certification (mandatory)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience within a premium café or F&B establishment
- Advanced barista expertise with strong technical proficiency in specialty coffee
- Proven ability to manage budgets, drive revenue growth, and control operational costs
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in calibration, quality control, and maintaining beverage consistency
- Excellent bilingual communication and presentation skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
