Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing new customer accounts and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing, negotiating, and closing commercial deals.
  • Review project specifications and prepare accurate sales quotations.
  • Provide management with timely updates and reports on market trends, competitors, and business activities.
  • Stay updated on competitor products, pricing strategies, and new product developments.
  • Develop effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and technical departments to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Deliver pre-sales and after-sales support, including technical assistance to customers.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, preferably in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in valves and actuators within the oil & gas, marine, or offshore industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial valves (ball, gate, globe, butterfly, check, etc.) and electric/pneumatic actuators.
  • Regional sales experience will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present and influence effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong follow-up and time management skills.
  • Able to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Candidates with relevant experience may be considered for Senior Sales Engineer positions.
