Mama Culture is growing, and we're looking for a passionate Assistant Bar Manager to lead our vibrant team across our restaurant and rooftop pool. If you love great drinks, energetic spaces, and creating memorable guest moments, Mama wants to meet you!
- Assist in daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and Mama's high standards
- Lead, support, and motivate the bar team with positivity and passion
- Oversee product quality, cocktail execution, and beverage presentation
- Foster a fun, safe, and guestfocused bar environment
- Manage stock levels, ordering, inventory, and cost controls
- Support the creation of new cocktail ideas and bar activations
- Handle training and development for the bar team
- Be a hands-on presence during busy service periods
- Assist with scheduling, admin tasks, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and liquor regulations
Requirements:
- Experience in a supervisory or assistant bar management role
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and bar trends
- A natural, warm host who loves interacting with guests
- Someone energetic, proactive, and solution-focused
- A team leader with strong communication and coaching skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- A big personality with a bigger smile - Mama loves authenticity
- Additional systems knowledge of Futurelog and Symphony will be helpful.
