Job Description
Due to the expansion of our service department activities, we are seeking qualified engineers specializing in automation or instrumentation for LNG, FSRU, LPG vessels and land based industrial power plant or gas terminal.
Job Scope:
1. Preform inspection, function test, calibration, troubleshooting or repairs for automation systems, sensors, and field instrumentation on vessels and land-based industrial plants. The systems are including but not limited to:
- Instrumentation & control systems maintenance.
- Hydraulic / Pneumatic valve testing and commissioning.
- Pneumatic controller & valve positioner overhaul.
- Smart transmitter calibration (Azbill, Yokogawa, etc.)
- Boiler instrumentation testing & start up.
- Gas detector system and troubleshooting.
- IGG system and O Analyzer calibration.
- Oil mist detector and fire alarm system testing and calibration.
- Pressure / Temperature Gauges, transmitters, flow meters, etc.
2. Monitor, coordinate, and follow up on project schedules and work progress to ensure timely completion and delivery.
3. Prepare and maintain detailed service and technical reports, including maintenance records, repair, spare parts recommendations, and future service proposals.
4. Assist in obtaining required entry permits and approvals in compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
5. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma, O Level, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
- Entry-level applicants with no working experience are welcome to apply.
- Preferably at least 1 year of experience in marine, shipyard, or industrial power plant or process plant or gas terminal environments.
- Willingness to travel locally and overseas for work assignments when required.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Possession of a Class 3 driving license is preferred.
- Willing to work in the Tuas Industrial area.
