They are seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to focus on the valuation of financial instruments, private equity investments, and credit modeling for both corporate entities and financial institutions.
Responsibilities: The role will mainly cover 2 areas of responsibilities, namely:
Valuation
- Assist with independent valuations of financial instruments and private equity assets.
- Evaluate clients valuation models, independently verifying pricing models and underlying assumptions.
- Conduct sensitivity analyses across various risk parameters.
- Document testing procedures, results, and observations.
Credit Modeling
- Support the validation of credit risk models under IFRS 9.
- Review the appropriateness of incremental borrowing rates for IFRS 16 compliance.
- Critically assess model risks by examining all components, development backup, and underlying assumptions.
- Apply data analytics and statistical modeling to validation efforts, interpreting results from both statistical and business perspectives.
- Prepare detailed model validation reports and/or presentations.
Requirements
- University degree related to finance, accounting, economics or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment with complex and detailed information.
- Experience and/or demonstrated ability in time management and adaptability to juggle multiple deadlines
