Job Description

ACCESS Health International is a global nonprofit think tank committed to transforming health systems. We work with governments, development partners, academia, and the private sector to improve access to high-quality, affordable healthcare, with a strong regional presence across South and Southeast Asia.

Our Southeast Asia Regional Office in Singapore leads high-impact work in cardiovascular disease prevention, digital health, innovative health financing, cancer care, and universal health coverage, partnering closely with governments, multilateral organisations, and industry across the region.

About the role

This is a substantive research and advisory position for someone who wants to do meaningful work at the intersection of health policy, health systems, and evidence-to-practice translation. You will lead consulting projects end-to-end, produce high-quality policy and research deliverables, engage directly with senior stakeholders, and contribute to business development, all within a lean, high-calibre team.

What you'll do

Consulting and project delivery (70%): Lead research design, stakeholder engagement, analysis, and report development across health systems, policy, financing, and digital health. Manage project timelines, budgets, and client relationships. Mentor junior staff.

Business development (20%): Identify and develop new project opportunities. Support proposals, build funder and partner relationships, and represent ACCESS Health at regional events.

Thought leadership (10%): Contribute to publications, policy papers, and knowledge networks. Build depth in thematic areas relevant to Southeast Asian health systems.

What we're looking for

  • Master's degree or higher in public health, health policy, health economics, or a related field (or Bachelor's with commensurate experience)
  • 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in consulting, research, or technical advisory in the health sector
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects from design through delivery
  • Strong analytical skills across qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Experience working in or on Southeast Asian health systems strongly preferred
