Join a dynamic Finance team as an Assistant Accounts Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in managing comprehensive financial accounts and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage complete sets of accounts and ensure timely month-end, half-yearly, and year-end financial closures. Prepare and review monthly management reports, including financial analysis, variance commentary, and key performance indicators. Handle accounting and reporting for multiple entities, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidation support. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in collaboration with business stakeholders. Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, Corporate Tax, and annual audit obligations. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities. Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance reporting efficiency. Contribute to finance transformation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) is advantageous. Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to full-set accounting and multiple entities. Prior audit experience is advantageous. Strong understanding of Singapore accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial results. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP/accounting systems. Self-motivated, meticulous, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder management skills.
