Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full set of accounts for the Singapore branch to ensure accurate financial management
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports to comply with accounting standards and support decision-making
- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping of all financial transactions for audit readiness
- Handle GST submissions and ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations to avoid penalties
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents to facilitate audits and tax-related matters efficiently
- Support tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency and reduce liabilities
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and best practices to uphold financial integrity
- Address transfer pricing matters where applicable to maintain regulatory compliance
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders as part of the finance team to support organizational goals
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience handling full set of accounts and financial reporting
- Familiarity with GST filing and Singapore tax regulations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and reporting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
