Key Responsibilities

Client Portfolio Management

. Assist in managing a portfolio of clients from various sectors, including SMEs, multinational companies, and fast-growing businesses.
. Oversee and review the preparation of management accounts (monthly, quarterly, and year-end).
. Review financial statements to ensure compliance with SFRS/IFRS reporting standards.
. Handle GST submissions and other regulatory filings in a timely and accurate manner.
. Ensure all deliverables meet quality expectations and are submitted within agreed timelines.

Team Support & Supervision

. Support the Accounts Manager in supervising and guiding the accounting team.
. Review work prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
. Provide coaching, training, and technical support when required.
. Contribute to improving team efficiency and ensuring deadlines are met.

Client Relationship Management

. Act as a primary contact point for assigned clients.
. Address client inquiries and provide practical accounting and compliance guidance.
. Build and maintain strong working relationships to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.

Process & Quality Control

. Ensure adherence to internal controls, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and review frameworks.
. Identify opportunities for process improvements and workflow optimisation.
. Ensure compliance with Singapore's regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements.

Requirements

. Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
. Professional qualifications such as ACCA or CA Singapore are advantageous.
. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or corporate services.
. Experience in reviewing work or guiding junior team members will be an added advantage.
. Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards, GST, and Singapore compliance requirements.
. Experience managing a portfolio of clients is highly preferred.
