Responsibilities:
. Assembles, wires, and adjusts prototype, pilot or production units using different levels of
assembly documentation and a wide range of tools.
. Build instruments per configuration, work orders and integrate instruments with highest quality
workmanship.
. Performs pretesting based on bath written and verbal procedures at the product and
subassembly level.
. Makes any necessary changes to assembly documentation using red line process.
. Recommends process improvements to increase overall efficiency and to clarify areas of
uncertainty during system builds.
. Assists Manufacturing Team in troubleshooting existing product lines.
Requirements:
. Nitec or Diploma in electronics / engineering with at least 3 years of manufacturing experience
in electromechanical assemblies.
. Must be able to read and understand manufacturing documentation including assembly
drawings, testing documentation, part drawings, and electronic schematics.
. Knowledge of automation components such as motors, pneumatics, encoders, sensors, and
lead screws.
. Good with the hands to handle delicate electronic components.
. Ability to communicate effectively, oral or written.
. Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
. Team player.
