Job Description
The Assembly Operator is responsible for performing assigned tasks within the assembly area in accordance with operational requirements, work instructions, and OMS (Operation Management System) guidelines.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform assembly tasks as assigned in the production/assembly area
- Follow and execute work instructions, OMS procedures, and supervisor directions accurately
- Ensure all completed work meets required quality standards, with no defects identified during internal inspection or customer audits
- Complete assigned tasks within the stipulated cycle time and production schedule
- Identify, report, and escalate any abnormalities, issues, or non-conformities encountered during assembly activities
- Maintain strict compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and workplace procedures at all times
- Support housekeeping, 5S practices, and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives when required
- Perform any ad-hoc duties or tasks assigned by Supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum GCE N-Level / Secondary education or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to work effectively with different functional teams
- Able to read and understand basic English instructions and work documents
- Willing to learn new skills and adapt to changes in work assignments or processes
- Strong discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and safety standards
- Willing to work in the East region (Changi North Crescent, Singapore)
- On-the-job training will be provided
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
