Location: Singapore (covering Southeast Asia markets)

Role Overview

The Asian Regional Product Head will be the ultimate owner of the product vision, strategy, and commercial success for the company's IT product portfolio across the diverse and rapidly growing markets of Asia (including APAC, SA). This executive will lead the regional Product Management team, act as the primary bridge between global product teams and local market sales/operations and drive regional P&L and growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Vision (Regional Alignment)

  • Define Regional Strategy: Establish and own the compelling 3-5-year product strategy and roadmap for the Asian region, ensuring it aligns with the company's global vision while maximizing local market opportunities.
  • Local Market Fit: Drive localization and product-market fit initiatives, translating global product features into locally relevant value propositions that address unique cultural, regulatory, and competitive landscapes (e.g., data privacy, payment systems, language).
  • Innovation Pipeline: Lead regional innovation, identifying white space opportunities, new business models, and partnerships specific to Asia to accelerate adoption and market share growth.

2. Commercial & Financial Performance (P&L Ownership)

  • P&L Management: Be accountable for the regional product P&L, including revenue, margin, profitability, and cost efficiency targets.
  • Pricing and Packaging: Define and execute the regional pricing, packaging, and commercial models (e.g., freemium, subscription, enterprise licensing) to optimize revenue streams across diverse country markets.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM): Oversee the successful planning and execution of all new product launches and feature rollouts across the region, coordinating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.

3. Regional Leadership & Team Development

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Regional Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key liaison between Global Product/Engineering/HQ and the regional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, etc.), managing expectations and influencing global roadmaps based on Asian market needs.
  • Cross-functional Excellence: Drive operational consistency and best practices in product management across all Asian countries, fostering a data-driven, customer-obsessed culture.

4. Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Deep Insight: Consistently monitor and analyze market trends, technology shifts, and the competitive landscape across Asia to inform strategic product decisions.
  • Customer Advocacy: Champion the voice of the Asian customer and partner ecosystem, gathering insights through direct interviews, user testing, and data analysis to prioritize the regional backlog.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in Product Management, with at least 5+ years in a senior, regional leadership role (Head of Product, VP, or Director-level) in the IT, Software, Fintech, or E-commerce industries.
  • Regional Expertise: Deep, demonstrated knowledge of the Asian market (APAC/SEA) with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling IT products in multiple Asian countries.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in managing, mentoring, and scaling a team of product managers across different geographic locations and cultural backgrounds.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of technology, software development lifecycles, and modern product methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean).
