AS400 Technical Lead

The AS400 Technical Lead is responsible for leading the design, development, and support of AS400-based banking applications. The role ensures system stability, performance, and compliance with banking and regulatory standards while delivering reliable technical solutions.

Roles and Responsibilitie

s• Lead development and maintenance of AS400 applications using RPG, RPGLE, and COBOL40

0• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and code reviews to team member

s• Design, manage, and optimize DB2 databases on the AS400 platfor

m• Collaborate with business and banking stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solution

s• Ensure application performance, security, and compliance with regulatory standard

s• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution

s• Support application enhancements, upgrades, and technical documentatio

Job Requiremen

• ts6–9 years of experience in software development using RPG and Control Language (CL) on AS4
• 00Bachelors degree in relevant IT fie
• ldExperience working on Silverlake/AS400 loan systems in a banking or financial services environmen
• t.Proficient with DB2 and understanding of data structures and file handling on AS40
