Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AS400 Technical Lead to manage the development, support, and optimization of AS400-based banking applications. The role focuses on system stability, performance, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development and support of AS400 applications (RPG, RPGLE, COBOL400, CL)
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and team leadership
- Design and optimize DB2 databases on AS400
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure performance, security, and compliance standards
- Troubleshoot production issues and support system enhancements
Requirements:
- 69 years of AS400 development experience (RPG & CL)
- Experience in banking/financial services environment
- Hands-on experience with Silverlake/AS400 loan systems
- Strong DB2 knowledge and AS400 data/file handling expertise
- Bachelors degree in IT or related field
