Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure AS400 COBOL software modules, interfaces, and components.
- Deliver quality software aligned with requirements and timelines.
- Explore new business solutions to enhance functionality and meet user needs.
- Follow established standards and methodologies for application design and development.
- Continuously upgrade skills to stay aligned with the latest development trends.
- Act as a self-starter and proactively identify and escalate issues when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in AS400 COBOL development.
- Experience in the banking domain, particularly in payments.
- Working knowledge of AS400, COBOL, SQL, and DB2 database.
- Familiarity with JIRA and ALDON.
- Experience across the full software delivery lifecycle and maintenance of AS400 applications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
- Experience working closely with clients to deliver required services.
