Artificial Intelligence Scientist / Senior Consultant - AI & Data Transformation

Our client is seeking a Senior Consultant who can drive complex data and AI transformation initiatives across Southeast Asia. The role blends product management, public sector delivery, AI use-case execution, and large-scale enterprise change. You will shape strategic roadmaps, deliver high-value data and AI solutions, and partner closely with senior stakeholders to modernize platforms, redesign processes, and unlock measurable business improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Data, AI and Digital Transformation
. Lead enterprise-wide programmes that integrate data, AI and business reinvention into a cohesive transformation journey
. Design end-to-end AI solutions including classical ML, GenAI, computer vision, RAG architectures, vector databases, agent frameworks and orchestration layers
. Frame, prototype and operationalise AI and data use cases with business and technical teams
. Guide organisations in embedding AI capabilities into operating models, governance structures and decision workflows
. Conduct future-state architecture workshops with cross-functional stakeholders

Product Management & Public Sector Delivery
. Oversee roadmaps, regulations rollout, platform enhancements and business process redesign
. Drive change management, user adoption and operational readiness
. Coordinate programme reporting and alignment across senior leadership in government and regulated environments

Strategy, Governance & Portfolio Leadership
. Manage data use-case portfolios, data governance activities and data-platform evolution
. Define transformation plans covering data strategy, operating models and AI-enabled process optimisation
. Translate business challenges into actionable strategies, solution blueprints and implementation plans

Engagement & Commercial Leadership
. Shape, structure and support the sale of large-scale consulting engagements
. Build demos, proof-of-concepts and technical showcases using multiple AI and data technologies
. Contribute to proposals, pitches and RFP responses (particularly in public sector contexts)
. Mentor consultants, lead delivery teams and develop capability through training sessions on AI, data, project delivery and process optimisation

Your Profile
. At least 4 years in consulting with hands-on delivery in data, AI or digital transformation
. Proven experience delivering and steering multi-million-dollar enterprise programmes
. Strong background in data strategy, AI/ML, GenAI, RAG and AI-driven business innovation
. Confident engaging senior leaders, shaping narratives and influencing decisions
. Solid grounding in AI/ML/LLM concepts with appetite to deepen technical expertise
. Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to apply emerging technologies creatively

Foreign languages will be helpful but not mandatory as this is an international consulting role across the region (beneficial to have some working experience - for example Thai, French, Bahasa, Vietnamese, Tagalog, etc - no preference just helpful)
