Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are seeking an AI Scientist to drive innovation in next-Generation AI systems, with a focus on large language models (LLMs), generative AI, agentic AI, and speech/audio technologies. This role operates within a dedicated prototyping environment, translating emerging AI concepts into working prototypes across AI, communications, and trust technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI prototyping from problem definition through Proof-of-Concept delivery.
• Develop and fine-tune LLMs, multimodal, or speech models for real-world applications.
• Design and implement speech/audio AI systems (e.g., ASR, TTS, speech enhancement, multimodal speech-text models).
• Evaluate model performance, scalability, and deployment feasibility.
• Document technical findings and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and innovation initiatives.

Experience Requirements

PhD in AI, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Speech Processing, Signal Processing, or related field with minimum 3 years of applied industry experience, or Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field with 68 years of industry experience in AI/ML engineering or advanced prototyping environments.

Candidates should have experience in at least two of the following domains:

AI Product Engineering / Prototyping

• Building and fine-tuning ML/LLM models using modern frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Deploying AI workflows into production or near-production systems.
• Translating real-world challenges into AI-driven solutions.

Speech / Audio AI

• Experience with ASR, TTS, speaker modelling, or speech enhancement.
• Familiarity with transformer-based speech architectures and audio signal processing.

Data Engineering

• Designing and managing data pipelines across structured and unstructured data.
• Handling large-scale datasets for AI training and optimisation.

AI Ethics & Governance

• Applying responsible AI principles and governance considerations in development.
