Job Description

  • Conduct engaging and high-quality individual and/or group art lessons for children and students of different ages and skill levels.
  • Teach a variety of art techniques and mediums, including drawing, painting, coloring, mixed media and other creative art forms.
  • Prepare students for art exhibitions, showcases, competitions, school events and other creative opportunities.
  • Monitor and assess students progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Prepare lesson materials and ensure that classroom and art materials are properly organized and maintained.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to support school activities, exhibitions, workshops and events.
  • Maintain professional standards of teaching, punctuality, attendance and classroom management.
  • Be available to teach on weekends as part of the School's regular teaching schedule.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education or a related discipline preferred.
  • Previous experience teaching art, particularly to children, is preferred.
