Job Description

We are looking for part-time Teaching Assistants to support our weekend classes on a fixed weekly schedule (4 hours, either Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning). This role is ideal for students or young adults looking for steady, manageable part-time work with a consistent schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in teaching younger and new students
• Support the lead teacher in preparing materials and setting up the classroom
• Help manage the classroom during peak periods (e.g. trial classes, new student intake)
• Provide encouragement and guidance to young students during art activities
• Report to the Centre Supervisor

Requirements

• Prior experience with our centre or familiarity with our teaching style is a plus (e.g. former students)
• Comfortable working with young children
• Reliable and able to commit to a fixed weekly weekend slot on an ongoing basis
• Currently studying in Polytechnic or University preferred
• No formal art background required - on-the-job guidance will be provided

Working Hours

• 4 hours per week, fixed slot: Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon OR Sunday morning
• Centre: Bedok or Yishun (to be confirmed based on availability)
