Our client is a foreign bank with a strong presence in global markets, the bank has an established network across 30 countries in different continents. They have an approved headcount for an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) in their Corporate Banking team.
about the job
As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive support to Senior Relationship Managers in all aspects of client management and business development.
Portfolio Management & Credit Analysis:
- Play an integral part in the credit assessment process by performing financial spreading and conducting in-depth financial analysis.
- Assist with data input for profitability and risk models, including expected credit loss calculations.
- Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive credit recommendation, which includes analysing environmental risks and searching for related parties.
- Support the team in preparing for the annual budget.
Client Onboarding & Transaction Support:
- Facilitate a seamless client experience by assisting with the new customer onboarding and account opening processes.
- Prepare and manage client due diligence (KYC) for both new and existing relationships, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Liaise directly with the operations department to ensure smooth implementation of client transactions.
- Provide assistance with transaction and legal documentation and support the execution of various transactions, including trade and syndicated loans.
Business Development & Client Engagement:
- Actively contribute to business growth by helping to identify new potential clients and opportunities.
- Assist senior management in tracking new projects and market developments in key regions to identify potential leads.
- Join Relationship Managers on business calls with clients and be responsible for preparing subsequent call reports.
- Handle client inquiries on an ad-hoc basis, providing excellent customer service.
- Serve as a reliable backup for Relationship Managers during their absence to ensure continuous client support.
Internal Collaboration & Reporting:
- Prepare various internal reports as required.
- Champion cross-selling initiatives by networking and collaborating with other internal departments and branches.
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as all relevant laws and regulations.

skills and experience required
- Degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Banking & Finance and Economics
- At least 1-2 years of credit and/or ARM/ RM experience in commercial or corporate banking
- Well-versed in banking products bilateral loans, syndication and trade finance
- Strong knowledge in credit analysis
