Job Responsibilities:.
The Area Sales Manager for emerging markets shall report to the Managing Director and is responsible for sales & market development in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Brunei and Laos to develop and generate sales to meet targets.
The key duties are :
- Play a key strategic role and make significant contributions as part of management team. Exercise initiative, knowledge, creativity, and independence to effectively and reliably research, plan, direct, execute and manage the market development and sales action campaigns in the assigned markets.
- Strengthen the Company's position in the luxury & premium segment and make successful and sustainable entry into the middle and lower segments.
- Coach, lead, empower, motivate, supervise and develop each member of your team for optimal effectiveness and efficiency, and continually develop their skills, experience and ability, with the goal of attaining and maintaining a top notch creative, effective, reliable and highly motivated market development and sales functions.
- Special projects
- Any other ad-hoc sales related tasks as required
Requirements :
- Degree in Marketing/Business/Engineering or other relevant fields
- At least 4-6 years experience in regional sales and market development for South East Asia, preferably with good experience and skills in distribution network development and management.
- Good existing network of contacts at decision maker level with property developers and architectural firms in Asean markets.
- Good knowledge and experience in effective B-B and B-C marketing.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and communication skills
- Hands-on approach with strong strategic, organizational and analytical skills, with go-getter attitude and able to multi-task.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Working experience in international corporate environment with de-centralized structures
