Area Contract Logistics Warehouse Operations Manager

As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. How you create impact

• Your primary objective will be to oversee all operational activities across specified warehousing sites in order to achieve all agreed financial + operational objectives. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders. The activities needed to deliver these objectives include:
  
• To ensure your site management teams deliver against their customer, site + people key performance indicators (KPI).
• To act as the Site Manager for locations within your scope as + when required.
• To drive all activities relating to customer on-boarding, operational excellence, + customer retention in collaboration with your center of excellence peers + teams.
• To drive productivity via engagement activities to create new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement at all times, ensuring all sites meet or exceed their productivity targets.
• To contribute information required for tenders/proposals to support closing of new business
