You will be working on Archives Reading Room related work as an Archives Services Intern under National Archives of Singapore (NAS).

[What you will be working on]

  • Conduct and produce historical research using NAS collections for its curatorial pages.
  • Developing and implementing guides to assist in making NAS records discoverable.
  • Carry out daily operations work with the Archives Reading Room team.

[What we are looking for]

  • Open to students from all disciplines students with a background in History are particularly encouraged to apply. Students with background in Arts, Humanities and Social Science background with keen interest in history and research are also welcomed.

  • Good written communication skills and able to write in clear, standard English targeted to different audiences/needs.

  • Interest in Singapore's history, and familiarity with historical research using both primary and secondary sources.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel & Word.

  • Comfortable with customer service work and enjoys working with people of diverse backgrounds.

Duration: 8-12 weeks
