Job Summary

You will lead architectural work progress and quality assurance, collaborating with project teams and consultants to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless execution. You will drive scheduling, coordination, and quality control to support successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of architectural work progress and quality to meet project standards and timelines
  • Plan and coordinate schedules for calling quotations from sub-contractors and material suppliers to support procurement processes
  • Review and verify architectural drawings and information to ensure alignment with actual site requirements and client or consultant amendments
  • Produce additional sketches and drawings to clarify design details and resolve site issues
  • Analyze architectural drawings alongside structural and M&E drawings to identify and resolve conflicts, collaborating with consultants to implement solutions
  • Communicate variations from specifications or drawings to the Project Manager and Contracts Managers promptly
  • Ensure proper sequencing and execution of various trades, verifying correct dimensions, alignment, levels, and set-out on site
  • Assist the Site Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager in qualifying finish material requirements and support supplier quotation and award processes
  • Coordinate timely delivery and storage planning of materials in collaboration with the Project Manager
  • Organize and lead regular meetings with sub-contractors to monitor progress and address issues impacting work schedules
  • Assign duties to architectural supervisors and monitor their performance to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks
  • Represent the architectural team in consultant site meetings, technical meetings, and sub-contractor meetings to facilitate communication and decision-making

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma in Architecture or a related field (e.g., Building Technology, Interior Design)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in an architectural firm or construction company (preferably)
  • Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD and Revit
  • Knowledge of construction materials and methods
  • Familiarity with Singapore building regulations and standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams
