Your impact

Our Architecture team is expanding, we are seeking a proactive and independent Permitting Coordinator to join our dynamic team supporting major industrial and infrastructure projects, including waste treatment and environmental facilities. You will play a key role in managing permitting processes from start to finish, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining strong relationships with authorities and stakeholders. This role is open for Singaporeans only given that it will involve authoriry clearance in most of our projects.

Essential Duties

  • Coordinate and track all permitting activities across project phases
  • Liaise with government agencies (e.g., NEA, SCDF, BCA, JTC, PUB) to ensure timely approvals
  • Prepare, review, and submit documentation for regulatory compliance
  • Maintain accurate records of permit schedule, deadlines and resolve tight timelines without constant supervision
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve permitting issues
  • Proactively identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
  • Support audits and inspections related to permitting and compliance.
  • Manages and keeps records of incoming & outgoing project submission and correspondences Ensures timely distribution of approved drawings and documents to clients, consultants & contractors in the respective project teams.
  • Assists in the preparation of drawings (CAD, BIM etc.), project reports, presentation materials, printings of drawings/documents/reports for issuance
  • Ensures all documents submitted to clients/external parties are aligned with the project's procedures
  • Prepares permitting minutes of meetings with clients, consultants and authority officers.
  • Assists Lead Architects/Architect QPs in the coordination of internal and external meetings, setting up appointments/meeting invitations with authority officers.

Here's what you'll need

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess

  • Minimum Diploma in Architecture.
  • 5-8 years of experience in permitting coordination preferably in industrial and infrastructure projects.
  • Deep understanding of Singapore permitting process and well-versed with codes & regulations.
  • Familiar with Singapore's permitting regulatory landscape and key authority departments.
  • Strong written and verbal skills with experience of liaising with consultants and authorities
  • Good interpersonal, organizational and facilitation skills to maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Documentation and File Management skills such as Project SharePoint, Microsoft Office, excel and Powerpoint
  • Drafting skills such as CAD, Revit, Bentley, IFC-SG for Corenet X etc
  • Presentation skills such as SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint etc
  • Familiar with ESPro, Corenet 2.0 and Corenet X platform for local authority submission.
