Architectural Supervisor (A1 Maincon)

Key Responsibilities

• Attend daily subcontractor meetings to address structural and architectural issues and ensure alignment with project schedule requirements.

• Monitor subcontractors site progress and safety compliance, reporting findings to the immediate superior and safety officer.

• Verify subcontractors works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications, and implement remedial actions for non-conformance.

• Conduct daily inspections with the project RE or RTO, and resolve comments to secure approval for work commencement.

• Maintain accurate records of inspection forms for reference and as supporting documentation for potential future defects or legal matters.

• Demonstrate professionalism and confidence in dealing with workers, subcontractors, and peers, while seeking guidance from senior site staff when necessary and adhering to contractual obligations.

• Ensure timely and efficient approval of assigned works, maintaining vigilance and applying BCA good practices on site.

• Support the Environmental Health and Safety program initiated by the Project Manager and WSHO to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

• Pursue continuous improvement through relevant construction courses (e.g., BCA or equivalent) and explore cost-saving methods applicable to site operations.

• Undertake additional tasks contributing to project cost-saving initiatives as required by the project team.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to new or junior site supervisors to ensure smooth integration without disruption to site progress.

• Be prepared to work flexible hours, including varied shifts or late-night work, as required for the execution of duties.
