Senior Site Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend daily subcontractor meetings to address structural and architectural issues and keep progress aligned with the project schedule

• Monitor site progress and subcontractors safety compliance, reporting observations to the supervisor and safety officer

• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications, and implement corrective actions for any non-conformance

• Conduct daily inspections with the Resident Engineer (RE) or Resident Technical Officer (RTO), and follow up on comments to secure work approvals

• Maintain proper records of inspection forms for reference and as documentation for any future defect-related matters

• Communicate confidently with workers, subcontractors, and colleagues, while seeking guidance from senior staff when necessary and maintaining professionalism

• Work towards timely approvals for tasks and apply BCA best practices across all site activities

• Support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives led by the Project Manager and WSHO to maintain a safe and clean work environment

• Continuously upgrade skills through construction-related courses (e.g., BCA or equivalent) and explore practical cost-saving measures for site implementation

• Take on additional responsibilities that contribute to project efficiency and cost optimization

• Provide guidance and support to new site supervisors to ensure smooth integration without disrupting project progress
