About the role
We are seeking a skilled architectural Project Manager and Designer to join our Singapore studio. This is a pivotal role where you will oversee the management and performance of projects being delivered on in India by our team located in New Delhi and Singapore, all while ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to contractual standards.
As a Project Manager and Designer, you will work closely with our Directors, project leads, internal teams across the region, and external clients to drive successful outcomes, all while having exceptional knowledge and understanding of the Indian market. You'll combine strong organisational skills with collaborative leadership, playing a key role in maintaining quality and efficiency while supporting the development and growth of our broader project management team and capability. This role sits at the intersection between our teams in Delhi and Singapore.
What will you be engaged in
As a Project Manager / Architectural Designer, you will:
- Plan projects, manage schedules, deadlines, and deliverables, and communicate issues to relevant teams when needed
- Oversee project scope to ensure alignment with client requirements
- Provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations while ensuring client feedback is communicated to the team
- Maintain Work in Progress reports and coordinate actions to keep projects moving forward
- Undertake report writing in conjunction with relevant leads
- Coordinate invoicing requirements, ensuring timely processing and escalation when needed
- Develop briefs to engage sub-consultants, and manage agreements, scope, and deliverables
- Onboard new projects, set timelines and deliverables, allocate resources, and manage internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to research and business development projects, including analysis, infographics, presentations, and reports
- Manage timelines and deliverables for market leads, including visual communications and design input
- Assist market leads with day-to-day operational tasks
- Be part of a growing team within our APAC region and help set us up for even more success into the future
- Participate in quality management processes, including Project Management Plans, integrated Management Systems and ISO Certification requirements.
- Working with project leaders, develop project work plans to determine fees, expenses and disbursements.
- Develop project design programmes, ideally in MS Projects to incorporate into bids and assist in managing the design process.
- Contribute to design management responses in bids, particularly with targeted outline service delivery plans.
What weare looking for
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in project management within the AEC industry, including in Delhi and Singapore, with architectural experience, or adjacent, highly desirable
- Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress
- Experience in report writing and invoicing processes
- Ability to develop briefs and manage sub-consultant agreements
- High-level proficiency in SharePoint, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and InDesign
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
