ARCHITECTURAL MANAGER

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise closely with consultants and sub-contractors to ensure proper follow-up on all technical requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections on architectural works to ensure smooth progress & compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operations of the project
• Liaise with consultants and sub-contractors on the project matters.
• Attend regular meetings with owner/client/contractors/sub-cons on project-related matters.
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies between drawings and as well as those that arise during the project execution
• Carry out in-progress and joint inspections and ensure all works were executed to the required quality standard.
• Attend technical meetings/site meetings with consultants, and provide technical solutions.
• Manage and lead Architectural project teams by outlining and assigning work, and reviewing technical accuracy and outcomes.
• Manage the Architectural consultants to meet project program, design deliverables, and Authority submission and timely approval.
• Carry out architectural work scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision, and documentation.
• Review and value-add to the designs/specifications/drawings submitted by consultants.
• Conduct routine inspections on architectural works to ensure smooth progress & compliance with approved design and specification

Requirement:

• Degree in Architecture, preferably a degree recognized by BOA
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in large-scale residential projects
• Good knowledge of architecture specifications, Architectural coordination works, and requirements.
• Posses strong leadership quality
• Conversant with local codes and authority submissions.
• Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in software such as AutoCad, and Sketch-up.
• Main contractor experience will be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commit and responsible towards the job.
• Able to take ownership, proactive firm.
