Candidates applying for the role is expectedto perform, but not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
Pre-sales Technical Support:
Support sales team on technicalqueries during sales pitch meetings or pre-sales technical discussions.
Provide technical support tomarketing team during exhibitions and marketing events.
Support sales & marketing duringdemonstration of how the solution can meet needs of prospective clients.
Supports sales team'sengagement with clients to assesstechnical requirements and business challenges.
Pre-sales Proposal Generation &Validation
Ensure that complete proposal request package is received from sales/account managers.
Collaborate with engineering &solution designer to generate proposal.
Follow up with sales team on theupdate for each proposal submission.
Follow up with proposal revisionswhen requested by potential client.
Conduct thorough pre-sales sitesurveys to gather relevant information for proposal validation and cost planning.
Collaborate with the sales & project team to generate Bills of Materials (BOM) from proposaldrawings and estimate cost of deployment.
Collaborate with sales and clientto design proof-of-concept installation to validateeffectiveness of proposed solution.
Product Knowledge and DemandTransfer
Train sales team on technicalaspect of solution to ensureinternal alignment and improve efficiency of communication with client.
Ensure alignment with technicalcapabilities of engineering team to tailor/customise solution to meet client's needs.
Competitive Analysis
Staying up to date with direct orindirect competitor's offering.
Conductinganalysis/calculation/write-ups topresent benefits of the company's solution
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
A minimum of 3 years experience is required in MEPS project management with relevance to ACMV.
Basic proficiency in CAD and modelling software, specifically AutoCAD, Revit & Inventor.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, specifically thermodynamics & fluid mechanics an added advantage.
Prior experience in customer relationship management and solution presentation or demonstration.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and external partners.
Strong analytical skills, systemic thinking and reasoning, with an attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment.
Travel Requirement
This position may require occasional travel to various ASEAN countries and outstation locations as an essential part of the job responsibilities. The frequency and duration of travel may vary depending on project needs and business requirements.
