Job Description

1. Lead and manage the architectural team in the planning, design development and coordination of architectural works.

2. Review architectural drawings, specifications and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements, authorities regulations and design intent.

3. Coordinate with consultants, contractors and clients to ensure smooth implementation of architectural works.

4. Manage architectural design development, shop drawings and material submissions.

5. Ensure architectural works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.

6. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team and site staff.

7. Attend project meetings, technical discussions and coordination meetings with consultants and authorities where necessary.

8. Monitor progress of architectural works and resolve design or technical issues during construction.

9. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and authority requirements (BCA, URA, SCDF and other relevant authorities).

10. Assist in project planning, budgeting and resource management for architectural works.

Requirements

1. Degree in Architecture or related discipline from a recognized university.

2. Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project management.

3. Experience in managing architectural works for commercial, residential or institutional projects.

4. Strong knowledge of local building regulations and authority requirements in Singapore.

5. Good coordination and communication skills with consultants, contractors and project teams.

6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines.

7. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or other architectural design software will be an advantage.

8. Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
