Architectural Drafter

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to support our specification and design team in preparing accurate technical drawings and documentation for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in CAD software, a solid understanding of architectural standards, and the ability to translate design concepts into precise drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and plans based on design specifications and project requirements.

• Convert conceptual sketches and specifications into accurate CAD drawings.

• Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes, industry standards (e.g., BCA, SS, ISO), and company guidelines.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and specification teams to resolve design and technical issues.

• Maintain and update drawing files, ensuring proper version control and documentation.

• Assist in preparing submission drawings for regulatory approvals.

• Support the team with technical detailing for waterproofing, flooring, and other building systems.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building Design, or related field.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp).

• Knowledge of Singapore building codes and BCA submission requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction specifications or waterproofing systems is an advantage.

• Familiarity with ISO standards and local compliance requirements.
