Job Description
- Demonstrate expertise in Revit and CAD software for design and drafting tasks.
- Understand and manage the process of 3D model-based shop drawings (Architectural/Structure).
- Ensure projects are completed in accordance to BIM guidelines and compliance with the relevant government regulatory requirements.
- Manage the process of 3D modelling (Architectural/Structure) and quality as per Project BIM requirement.
- Make submissions to clients and relevant authorities and ensure all forms, drawings and BIM models are submitted.
- Develop and review 3D models, translating them into accurate 2D drawings.
- Generate regular reports on BIM model progress, clashes identified/resolved, and any design adjustments needed.
- Implement QA/QC processes for BIM deliverables, ensuring that models are compliant with the BEP and meet project requirements while managing time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure that data within the BIM models is accurate, up-to-date and securely managed, following digital information security protocols.
- Attend Technical and BIM Coordination Meetings and prepare Minutes of Meeting for BIM Coordination Meetings.
- Organise & plan work schedule to meet deadline.
- Prepare, revise, update architectural detail drawings.
- Plan & prepare all drawings in accordance to standard procedures.
- Co-ordinate and produce concept drawings, shop and detail drawings for projects, tender submissions, etc.
- Prepare materials take-off for projects and issue production drawings/cutting lists for fabrication.
- Maintain project documentation and records, prepare reports, letters, presentations to clients.
- Updating as-built drawings for final submissions.
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary and as assigned by higher management.
