Job Description

Responsibilities:

Review, update and coordinate all architectural work including shop drawings for the project
Resolve drawings discrepancy
Liaise, supervise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors on projects and work
Ensure compliance with Architectural specifications, and achieve quality aspect of architectural works
Coordinate with architect, structural engineer and M&E engineer to resolve construction problems and issues
Carry out architectural works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation
To assist Project Manager to develop project requirements and specifications
To attend to construction site coordination works and meetin
Review project specifications, tender clarifications and construction drawings
Carry out daily supervision and coordination of all architectural implementations at site
Prepare any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure smooth transition of works
To liaise with RTO for inspection
Inspect, resolve and monitor rectifications
Supervise the construction of works and incorporation of materials and ensure that they are carried out in accordance with the Project Plan
Assist the Project Management team in ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance to relevant regulations
Coordinate all architectural drawings and works, submit and update status of shop drawings and materials as well as supervise work progress
Liaise closely with consultants and sub-contractors conduct routine inspection of installed works
Prepare / coordinate on method statement, drawings, materials, samples, work progress and other relevant documents for M&E related works
Identify discrepancies between M&E, Structural ID, Architectural and client provision

Requirements:

Relevant Degree / Diploma in Architecture or its equivalent
Minimum 5 years of local experience in private residential and commercial building projects will be an added advantage
Understand the specifications, drawings, scope and sequence of works
Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies
Awareness of requirements of relevant authorities (i.e. BCA)
Good team player
