We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Architectural Coordinator to join our techinical team. This role will support design coordination, site execution, and technical documentation to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Coordination
- Review and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
- Identify design conflicts and liaise with consultants and contractors to resolve issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with project design intent, specifications, and construction standards
Project Support
- Monitor progress of architectural works on-site and report any deviations or issues
- Assist in the preparation of method statements, technical reports, and work schedules
- Support site inspections and quality control activities to ensure workmanship standards are met
Documentation & Records
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and approvals
- Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and project handover documentation
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and authority requirements
Team Collaboration
- Coordinate closely with MEP, structural, and other project disciplines
- Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input when required
- Support senior architectural staff in design optimization and value engineering initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture or a related field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction or architectural coordination
- Good understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction methods
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with BIM and coordination tools will be an advantage
