Job Summary:
The Architectural Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating architectural design and documentation across all project phases, ensuring compliance with design intent, building codes, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate architectural design development and documentation with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Review and manage design drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines (structural, MEP, civil) to resolve design conflicts.
- Maintain quality control through regular reviews and checks of documents and site works.
- Facilitate communication between architects, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Assist in managing project schedules, timelines, and deliverables.
- Participate in design meetings and project coordination sessions.
- Prepare and submit necessary regulatory approvals and permits.
- Support the project team during the construction phase, including responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field .
- Relevant experience in architectural design coordination or project management or similar .
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software (SketchUp, Rhino, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of construction detailing, materials, and methods.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
