ARCHITECTURAL COORDINATOR

The duty of the Architectural Coordinator is to ensure the quality of work done and to ensure that the work is carried out smoothly in accordance with the Contract Specification. The duties shall not be limited to the above, but also include preparing shop drawings, planning the mock-up date, coordinating work with the site engineer and M&E coordinator, and all other necessary and relevant scope of work.

• Prepare and review architectural shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Submit drawings and materials for consultant/authority approvals.
• Supervise and inspect architectural works on-site.
• Monitor progress and report delays or discrepancies to management.
• Handle submissions to NParks and other authorities for clearance.
• Maintain records of architectural inspections, RFI, and material approvals.
• Carry out architectural works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision, and documentation in accordance with the Master Programme.
• Ensure that architectural works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Conduct joint inspections and manage rectification works for defects.
• Attend site meetings with client/contractors/sub-contractors and resolve design or site conflicts.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience

The Architectural co-ordinator must have a relevant tertiary qualification or trade certification, which is awarded by the Singapore Institute of Architects.

Tactful in handling clients and contractors/sub-contractors, and all related parties.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
