Arbitrage Trader, Precious Metals & Energy

We are currently looking for an experienced Trader to manage the Precious Metals and Energy Commodities books of LC Beacon Global Fund. The fund is a relative value arbitrage fund, trading arbitrage and basis strategies across multiple asset classes. Our investment approach focuses on identifying and capturing relative value opportunities while maintaining robust risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the fund's precious metals and energy commodities books, focusing exclusively on near-pure arbitrage strategies (no basis trades).
• Identify, evaluate, and execute arbitrage opportunities in relevant commodity markets.
• Ensure positions are efficiently managed and aligned with the fund's return and risk targets.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate infrastructure is in place for effective trading.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in arbitrage trading of precious metals and/or energy commodities.
• Comprehensive understanding of relevant market structures, execution, and infrastructure.
• Strong operational coordination skills and risk management acumen.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with operations teams, prime brokers, and execution brokers.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented.
