Apprenticeship / Mentee Program

Under this program Proposed Mentees will be selected and assigned to different roles under the guidance of an IFA team member for the duration. The roles are suitable for 4 weeks - starting 1 September 2026. The roles may involve travel, but this is contingent on project needs only. The roles come with a stipend, and as such require an element of work-based learning, these are not internships. You will receive relevant credits for the relevant projects you work across. You may be asked to participate across multiple projects during the menteeship to ensure fullest exposure to types of content output.

PROPOSED PRODUCER'S MENTEE (FACTUAL AND SCRIPTED)

Possible Learning Outcomes:

Assist and learn all aspects of production from development, production through to post. To include learning the processes of research, writing treatments, reviewing scripts, coordinating with various teams from crew to VFX, to editors and sound designers.

PROPOSED PRODUCTION MANAGER'S MENTEE (FACTUAL AND SCRIPTED)

Possible Learning Outcomes:

Assist and learn all aspects of production management from development, production through to post. To include learning the processes of costing, budgets, logistics, coordinating with suppliers and talent, and learning processes of social media planning for projects.
