Application/Technical Lead

We are seeking a skilled Application/Technical Lead to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to guide teams in delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of software applications.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.

• Oversee the integration of applications with existing systems and third-party tools.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal application performance.

• Manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from planning to delivery.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure quality assurance through testing and debugging.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Public Services will be ideal (optional)

• Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, stepping in to solve problems directly when needed.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Application/Technical Lead or in a similar role.

• Strong expertise in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and frameworks.

• Experience with application architecture, databases, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
