Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of technical projects from initiation to deployment, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet established quality standards and comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and methodologies, promoting agile practices where appropriate.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting their professional development.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party dependencies as required for project delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT project management or technical delivery roles, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale technology projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory environments is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Key Domain/Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project).
- Experienced in implementing technical projects involving system conversion or technology re-platform.
