Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end production support for Finacle Real Time Payment Platform within Global Banking applications.
- Own incident lifecycle: identification, triage, resolution, escalation, and restoration within agreed SLAs.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), implement mitigations, and drive permanent fixes through Problem Management.
- Manage incidents, problems, and change requests via enterprise ITSM tools aligned to ITIL practices.
- Monitor application health, batch processes (event-driven & schedule-driven), and performance metrics.
- Partner with Development, Infrastructure, Testing, and Business teams for releases, upgrades, and new service onboarding.
- Support regulatory, audit (internal/external), and governance requirements.
- Perform capacity, availability, and performance management to ensure operational stability.
- Contribute to automation, service improvements, and production governance initiatives.
- Participate in shift rotation, weekend support, and on-call duties for releases and critical incidents.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of production/application support experience in Banking or Financial Services.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Finacle Payment Engine (Real Time Payments).
- Solid knowledge of Java/J2EE, web services (SOAP/REST), middleware (MQ, JBoss, MuleSoft), and Unix/Linux environments.
- Proficient in Oracle/DB2 with strong SQL/PLSQL troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management).
- Proven ability to perform RCA, manage escalations, and meet production SLAs.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring/scheduling tools and L1-L3 support models.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
