Were seeking someone to join our Investment Management Technology Team to support core business processes covering order generation, order management, trade execution, trade confirmation and trade settlement.

This is a Software Production Management & Reliability Engineering position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for overseeing the production environment, ensuring the operational reliability of deployed software, and implementing strategies to optimize performance and minimize downtime

What You&aposll Do In The Role

  • Primary point of contact with Business Users (Portfolio Managers, Traders etc.)
  • Support the Equity and Multi-Asset Investment teams and Trading Desks covering order generation, order management, trade execution, trade confirmation and trade settlement.
  • Responsible for managing Incidents, major Incidents, problem and change management related activities
  • Work with stakeholders and development team to establish and document requirements. Translate business needs into technological requirements.
  • Contribute to the function through critical business driven project tasks and initiatives.
  • Interact regularly with team members and occasionally leadership on a range of topics.

What You&aposll Bring To The Role

  • At least 4 years&apos relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Advanced Database/SQL (Sybase preferred) skills - ability to write stored procedures. Good to have exposure to Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience with operating systems like UNIX/LINUX
  • Advanced understanding and ability to write scripts in Perl, Shell, Python
  • Understanding of Equity/Derivatives/FX trade life cycle, electronic trading, FIX and accounting.
  • Batch job scheduling tools like Autosys
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, SOAP/XML/JSON
  • Ability to process information, translate into plans and present summaries to stakeholders.
  • Experienced understanding of business line and discipline.
  • Must be team oriented and work well within a global team
  • Must be self-sufficient, be accountable and act like an owner of IT related issues handled by the team
  • Good analytical, problem-solving skills coupled with strong communication skills
