For more information, visit our website: Position Summary: https://romulus.digital/ We are looking for a Application Support / Integration Engineer to join our team, focusing on troubleshooting complex production issues, managing system integrations, and ensuring high system reliability. This role is ideal for candidates with strong backend, SQL, and API integration experience who enjoy solving complex technical problems and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

. Investigate and resolve complex production issues, taking full ownership from root cause analysis to resolution

. Perform deep-dive analysis on code, system logs, database queries, and data flows

. Work with APIs (REST/SOAP), EDI (X12/EDIFACT), and SFTP integrations to ensure seamless data exchange

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate technical solutions clearly

. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solution quality

. Create and maintain technical documentation (SOPs, system design, API specs, workflows)

. Monitor and improve system performance, stability, and observability Technical Requirements Must-have:

. Strong experience with MSSQL (2016/2022) ○ Performance tuning ○ Complex queries ○ Data migration

. Hands-on experience with system integration: ○ REST / SOAP APIs ○ EDI (X12 / EDIFACT) ○ SFTP

. Solid knowledge of ASP.NET and SSRS Reporting

. Strong troubleshooting skills across: ○ Application ○ Database ○ Integration layers

. Experience with API data mapping & platform integration Nice-to-have:

. Basic understanding of Cloud (Azure / GCP) . Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles

. Minimum 4+ years of total experience in software development, application support, or system integration roles . At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with: ○ MSSQL (performance tuning, complex queries) ○ API / system integration (REST, SOAP, SFTP, EDI)

. Proven experience in production support, incident handling, and root cause analysis

. Experience working with enterprise or highly integrated systems is highly preferred What We Offer:
